The 40-hour hybrid pathway combines orientation, a 32-hour online curriculum and guided practice. It introduces the knowledge, practical skills and professional responsibilities expected of entry-level behavior technicians through six core content areas.

Data Collection and Graphing
Measure behavior using continuous and discontinuous procedures, record permanent products, enter and summarize data, update graphs, identify trends and understand the importance of reliable data.

Behavior Assessment
Conduct preference assessments and participate appropriately in skill assessments and components of functional assessment procedures under supervision.
03RBT outline · 25%
Behavior Acquisition
Learn reinforcement, discrete-trial and naturalistic teaching, task analysis and chaining, prompting and fading, discrimination, generalization, maintenance, shaping and token economies.
04RBT outline · 19%
Behavior Reduction
Identify common functions of behavior and learn supervised implementation of antecedent strategies, differential reinforcement, extinction, consequence procedures and crisis or emergency plans.

Documentation and Reporting
Communicate concerns and clinical direction promptly, report variables that may affect progress and document sessions objectively according to legal, regulatory and workplace requirements.

No. The 40-hour pathway includes a 4-hour initial in-person class, 32 hours online and a 4-hour final in-person class.
When will students receive course access?
Access will be activated after payment is confirmed and the student's private account is created.
How are the in-person classes scheduled?
The Academy will provide instructions for the initial class. The final 4-hour class is scheduled after the 32-hour online course is complete.
Does completion guarantee a job?
No. Qualified graduates may be considered for available positions and must complete the normal hiring process.
